Once and never again! I had reserved a table in writing for our wedding anniversary. On arrival we were a little surprised at the number of guests, despite corona restrictions. In this regard, I was informed in writing that you only need one mask to get to your seat. Finally we sat in an adjoining room with 14 other guests. The adjoining room was fully occupied, as were the remaining rooms. I couldn't find any ventilation or airing. Actually, I would have liked to toast our wedding day with my wife. However, since we initially did not receive a food / drink menu, as they were all in use, we patiently waited for the cards. After we received it, nothing more happened. The drinks were served to other guests who only arrived immediately before us, and then soon the starters too. Guests who came about 10 minutes after us and were seated in the same room were asked about their drink requests and also took the food order. After they had their drinks served, I waited another 5 minutes in the hope of being able to order something to drink at some point - no result! So I put on my mask, went to the counter and complained that after 35 minutes of presence, counted from the time I received my ticket, I would like to order something to drink. Already here I announced the reason for my reservation again. Finally we could finally order something to drink afterwards. The desire for a glass of champagne or something similar had meanwhile already passed! Here we immediately placed our food order. Then came the great waiting again. When the rest of the guests had not only served / consumed their main courses, but also their desserts, one noticed, obviously due to my mood, which had now sunk to below zero, that we had not yet received anything but one drink. This was followed by the message that something might have gone wrong in the kitchen, but the kitchen was not responsible for it. Then came the starter, which, of course, I now examined extremely critically, since they advertise that all dishes are freshly prepared and only use high-quality food. Why every starter we chose was served sweet chilli sauce from the bottle is probably the secret of the chef. Other restaurants in this price range do not serve easily recognizable ready-made products! In any case, we just had the last bite of the starter in our mouths when we were served the main course with the hint that they would have made up for the long wait. I had already politely but definitely announced my great disappointment and the idea of ​​a cozy evening on my wedding day. This was destroyed by staying in the Grombacher Stuben according to all the rules of the art. Finally, at the express request, my wife received her dessert afterwards and I ordered a Coke. This was served after a really quick 3 minutes with the excuse the drink took so long. I no longer really cared whether this communication was meant seriously or sarcastically. Finally I paid the bill, which was in the high-priced segment, of course without any tip (sorry, but I was not only pissed off but also deeply disappointed). The main course was also quite tasty. When we were walking we were offered a drink on the house while standing at the counter, which in my opinion initially took the form of a glass of prosecco or something similar after the complaint. more than would have been appropriate. I refused, but then, after being persuaded by my wife, for her sake, drank the drink. Shame, the restaurant was recommended to me. I definitely cannot recommend it, unless you want to spend a frustrating, unpleasant evening on your wedding day.

Great food, meat cooked to the point. Were very well served by Mrs. Veronika L. throughout the evening. I can only recommend it

I was at a wedding party in the GS last weekend. On previous visits, the quality and service have always been very good. Both of these were sufficient this time. E. not the claim of the house. E.g. the guests may sometimes ask for more food to be added to the buffet. Overall not convincing. Unfortunately!

Last weekend we celebrated our wedding in the Grombacher Stuben. Despite the corona pandemic, which caused us great concern in advance, it was THE perfect day! The great ambience in the GS, the delicious food, the great service and the flexibility have contributed to this. THANK YOU! We partied until the early hours - that shows that it was just great. Our guests also felt comfortable. You could use the great beer garden and we had the side terrace to ourselves, which is of course perfect (in Corona times). We commissioned Sigrid Lakes Wedding and Events for the decoration, as she has been decorating the Grombacher Stuben for many years and therefore knows her way around perfectly. We can only recommend this service! All in all a successful party - we thank you and it will definitely not be our last party there ;-)

A few days ago we got married in the Grombacher Stube. The professional appearance of the staff, the food, the location, just everything, was perfectly planned and implemented by the management. Food good, service lousy We had reserved a table in the beer garden for five people. When we arrived the table was not set correctly (napkins and cutlery was missing), as well as a water glass and two chairs. The table was in the shade, but it was squeezed between a large group of people and the bush. Corona technology clearly too close to the other table. It would also make sense to have mobile parasols here, then you could have used the large space in the middle of the beer garden. Nevertheless, we were happy because only good things were said. The waitresses were rather listless and tried hard to be friendly. In addition, I found the 2 cm long fingernails rather unhygienic to operate - especially difficult in corona times. The MNS was also rather reluctantly worn over the nose. The order was taken quickly, the drinks were waited a little longer. Re-ordering was rather difficult. When ordering the meal, the surprise that you can replace fried potatoes with spaetzle without any problems, but not with a small pile of salad. You have to order a side salad and still get the fried potatoes. The meal came at a just about pleasant time. The schnitzel was great, the fried potatoes tasted too, but unfortunately a bit cold. Price-performance ratio for the food ok, unfortunately not for the service. How ladies cope with a large society is a mystery to me. Even if the food was good we won't be back.

We celebrated our wedding in the Grombacher Stuben. The location is wonderful. The food and service were terrific. It was a very successful celebration. All agreements were wonderfully implemented. Are flexible and individually received our wishes. It was really great. I can only recommend. A big compliment and a big thank you !!

Very nice atmosphere. Staff very attentive. I think price, performance is fine. Three course menu at this price and this nice location was great. Maybe to beef fillet instead of herbs spaghetti another side dish. We had a wonderful evening, gladly again.
